RIGINALLY established in 1994 as the Philippine Nautical Training Institute (PNTI) the PNTC Colleges - Maritime Training Center has evolved and has now become the Maritime Training Department of the wider PNTC Colleges group which includes PNTC Colleges (Manila and Dasmariñas City), Nova Computer College (EDSA, Quezon City) and Kauri Academy (Auckland, New Zealand).

The PNTC Colleges - Maritime Training Center delivers basic and specialized maritime training courses pursuant to IMO - STCW Convention. It services over 250 manning agencies and more than 30 maritime schools nationwide with facilities located in Intramuros, Manila and in Dasmarinas and Tanza in Cavite.
